Lighthouse Community Preschool (LCP) officially opened in October of 2003. The preschool is located in the Jay and Eloise Troxel Family Life Center. LCP serves children residing with their mothers in the Troxel Family Life Center. The preschool also serves children from surrounding communities.

LCP offers a safe and nurturing educational environment for preschoolers from infants to pre-kindergarten students. Lighthouse KIDCARE AFTERCARE also operates through LCP and provides school age children with safe, structured after school activities. Volunteer tutors are on hand to help students with homework and to work with children in subjects such as reading, math, and phonics.
