One Stop Care for Men

The Emmanuel Program is a one-year discipleship program designed to assist men in overcoming addictions and bringing every area of their lives under the leadership of Jesus Christ.

The program provides for the spiritual and physical needs of residents. While church attendance is required, the men also have the opportunity to attend chapel with the overnight residents of the rescue ministry. Food, clothing, shelter, and non-medical rehabilitation programs are given to each resident. All are encouraged to grow through our NOVA program, which reinvigorates the adult learning process through memorization and skills training.

Courses in the rehabilitation program include “Overcomers in Christ” and Work Internship. “Overcomers in Christ” is a Christian recovery program for individuals and families. The Work Internship portion of the program allows residents to work in various ministries within Lighthouse in order to help make Lighthouse a wonderful place of service and a special place to show the love of Jesus.

ROWE

Before Lighthouse, Rowan was depressed, lost, and had given up. After being put on probation for smoking weed, he found it hard to find work. He had little to contribute monetarily to his family, and his drug habit was consuming him. It was then that he decided to come to Lighthouse.
Rowan gave his life to Christ on the same day he entered the program, May 8, 2008. As a 20-year-old, he is one of the youngest members of the Lighthouse family, but he has gained renewed purpose here. He now loves to share the gospel and grow closer with the Father. His mother has also accepted the Lord since he came to Lighthouse.
